The experience
A three-hour, unhurried session in a private studio with professional lighting. You bring the outfits, I handle the rest: posing, styling, and direction, so all you have to do is enjoy it. You'll leave feeling incredible, with portraits that look the way you felt. Makeup artist available as an add-on.Session fee: €280, payable in full by the day of the session.

After your session, I carefully select and edit your portraits in a timeless style, delivered in both colour and black and white. At your viewing appointment, you see the finished images and choose your favourites.Portrait collections from €400, purchased at your viewing appointment.

Hi, I'm Joana.I'm a Portuguese portrait photographer based in Berlin, with a soft spot for photographing women.My journey began in 2012, while I was doing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering in the US. Photography started as a weekend passion and grew into a business in Portugal, where I photographed 400+ women before moving to Berlin and taking a pause for motherhood.Now I'm back behind the camera, bringing that experience with me and exploring what it means to be seen at different stages of life.I believe you don't need to be a model to have beautiful portraits. You don't need to know how to pose, feel confident in front of a camera, or arrive knowing exactly what you want.That's where I come in.I'll guide you through the session, help you find what works for you, and create space for you to feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we'll create portraits that feel considered, expressive and true to who you are.Because you deserve to feel extraordinary.
